Combining Strokes Exercise
In this exercise, we're going to look at combining what we've learned from playing the single strokes and the double strokes.
Structure:
- One bar of single strokes
- One bar of doubles
- One bar of singles
- One bar of doubles
It's the same format:
I'll play, you play. I'll play, you play.
Here we go:
1, 2, 3, 4. Great!
Paradiddles Exercise
In the next exercise, we're going to play:
- Two bars of double strokes
- Two bars of paradiddles
Important Note:
Remember, with the paradiddles, the sticking naturally reverses each bar because you play singles and then end with a double. So, you'll naturally then lead with the other hand.
