Lesson transcript:

Bass Drum Technique Overview

Hopefully, you're now feeling a lot more comfortable adding the bass drum notes in.

  • Transitioning to the Hi-Hat:
Sometimes going to the hi-hat straight after is adding a snare.

I know we haven't played them all in unison yet, but we will.

Key Focus

The idea is just that you get used to your bass drum technique, whichever one you've chosen—probably heel down for now—and that you're comfortable going between those three different parts of the kit.
