Lesson transcript:

Audio Setup Adjustments

So we're back! We've tweaked the gain settings on the two mics that had a few issues:

  • Kick Drum: Too loud.
  • Hall Mic: A little bit too quiet.

We made the necessary adjustments.

Additionally, we flipped the phase on the snare drum, which is something you should always do. I forgot to do that during the setup, but typically you will:

  • Flip the phase between the two mics on the snare drum.

Next Steps

So here we go. Let's do another take and see how it sounds.

Listen and Evaluate
All right, we've got a take. Let's have a listen and check if the gain is all right, and ensure there's no overloading. So here we go!
