Setting Up Room Mics
Cool! So, we're going to set up the room mics.

Placement:
- There's one here.
- You want to space them fairly apart from each other to create a bit of stereo.

Mic Orientation:
- This mic is pointing the wrong way, which some people actually do.
- If you want to capture more of the room, you can point the mic towards a wall. This will reflect sound and provide you with more ambient reflection.
- For this recording, however, we're going to point it at the kit. This orientation will still capture the room sounds.

Mic Settings:
- I'm going to set this mic to cardioid as well.
- Since we're a little bit away from the kit, we will use a -10 decibel pad for the next one.
