Mum, Mum Exercise
And finally, we're going to do the mum, mum exercise while rotating the head and getting some movement of the head.
So we're going to go:
- ma, ma, mamma,
- mum, mum, mum, mum, mum, mum.
Important Tips:
- Relaxation: Make sure that you're not pushing it or forcing it.
- Jaw Position: Avoid allowing the jaw to widen or, sorry, the mouth to widen too much.
- Horizontal Movement: We want to think of doing it more horizontally, as we did with the ah exercise in day one.
- Neck Relaxation: Relaxing and releasing the neck is going to help you to get more in touch with your support system.
Next Steps:
These are the exercises you're going to be doing over the next five days.
- Follow Along: Follow along with the audio portion of this course.
- Refer Back: Feel free to refer back to the video for any clarification.
I'll see you guys on Day 15!

Adam Mishan is a vocal coach who taught himself to sing. His videos document the journey from not being able to hold a pitch to singing with real control, and that path now shapes how he teaches - over 200,000 people follow along on YouTube. In his courses you'll work on pitch, breath support, tone and range in small, repeatable steps, the same way he built his own voice.
