Music Lesson Assignment: Chord Construction and Arpeggios
Your assignment for this lesson is to make sure you understand the construction of all the chord types we've looked at.
Task Instructions:

Choose a Jazz Standard: Select a jazz standard that you are comfortable with.

Play Arpeggios: Try and play arpeggios for every chord in turn.
Make sure to focus on the following:
- Understanding the structure of each chord
- Practicing your finger positions
- Timing and rhythm as you play

About the instructor
Chris Haigh ist seit 25 Jahren professioneller Fiddle-Spieler mit Erfahrung in vielen verschiedenen Genres. Er hat Swing-Jazz mit The Kimbara Brothers, Diz Disley, Le Jazz, The Hot Club of London und den Quecumbar Allstars gespielt und leitet die siebenköpfige sowjetische Swing-Band The Kremlinaires. Chris gibt Unterricht und Workshops zur Jazzgeigen-Technik und hat Jazzgeige an den Universitäten Middlesex, Brunel und Newcastle sowie am Truro College unterrichtet.
