About this course

Volume 2 of Dov Waterman's Composition & Creativity series. Two sides of the creative coin: melodic and rhythmic. The Alchemy section explores Logic's flagship synthesizer - signal flow, modulation, importing your own audio for sampling, and performance mode for live-style sound design. The rhythm section covers Ultrabeat (including as a multi-output instrument), the Virtual Drummer with advanced effects and layering, and Apple Loops as a fast composition starter. Two assignments: build a granular synth in Alchemy, and explore Drum Machine Designer.
