Hi, this is Isaac Kotek and I'm going to be teaching this course on fast songwriting. We will discuss:

About Me
Let me start by talking about myself, which I love to do!
I'm Isaac Kotek, an Ableton certified trainer with over seven years of experience training musicians and schools across the United States and internationally.
My Musical Journey
- I travel extensively, performing under my project name Subaqueous.
- I have worked on numerous projects, including:
- Ambient music
- World fusion electronic music
- A vocal group called Silk Drop
- I also mix and produce for other artists.
This is me performing at a festival in Washington and at the Awaken Festival, where I taught Ableton Live techniques related to my creative process. It was during these experiences that I noticed people were interested in how I create music quickly across my various projects. This recognition inspired me to create this course.
Learning Ableton Live
I began using Ableton Live about seven to eight years ago, starting with Live 5. There was no manual available in English, so I was learning in the dark. As I became more proficient, I started teaching others what I had learned, which greatly enhanced my skills as a teacher.

What This Course Is Not
- This course does not cover the basics of Ableton Live.
- If you are not familiar with how to control Ableton Live, warping, or managing clips, this might not be the right course for you.
Recommendation: Please refer to my other courses on the basics of Ableton Live to build an understanding before tackling this course.
