Introducción al curso

Welcome to Discovering Rock Violin

This course consists of 30 different lessons covering a vast amount of information and knowledge that you need to grasp.

Course Structure

• If you don't want to go straight through from beginning to end, that's probably okay.
• However, many of the basics and important lessons are in the first few chapters, so I recommend:
  • Learning the first few chapters very thoroughly.
  • Even if you choose to skip some of the later ones.

Mastery and Learning

• Don't assume that each lesson will be something you can master within a few hours.
• Remember, there is a lifetime's knowledge in these lessons, and lifelong learning continues even after you've read or watched these videos.

Assignments

At the end of each lesson, I provide you with a series of short assignments that will help you:

• Assimilate the information you've just encountered.
• Integrate this knowledge into your playing and technique.

Important Reminder

Each lesson contains a great deal of information.

• While it may only take a few minutes to watch a lesson, I encourage you to:
  • Take the time to master what you are taught.
  • Avoid moving on until you've truly learned the material.
