About this course

Rockschool Piano Grade 3 brings rock, pop and jazz together, and this course shows you how each style is meant to feel. Pro pianists give you full demonstration performances and lessons on six pieces - Rihanna's Unfaithful, Adele's Skyfall, Otis Redding's (Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay, plus Reggae Island, Overrated and Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage.

You also dig into Grade 3 scales, arpeggios and chord voicings, the basics of blues improvisation over a 12-bar form, and sight reading with the KAT TRAP method, taught by players including Paddy Milner, Ross Stanley, James Beckwith, Marina Haywood-Lieberman and Andrew Johnson.
