Lesson transcript
Full Blues Form Lesson
So I'm going to play for you now the full blues form in time.
1, 2, 3, 4.
Right Hand Technique
In the right hand, what I've done is play the triads that we learnt, but using them in slightly more rhythmically interesting ways to give this idea of groove or swing.
Left Hand Technique
In the left hand, I'm playing a really common boogie woogie blues line.
Note:
You can play this or not; it's up to you.
Learning Objective
This is a great backbone and a template for:
- Learning how to improvise
- Understanding the blues form
