About this course

Paddy Milner is one of the leading blues piano players around. He spent years with the late Jack Bruce, is the current keyboard player for Sir Tom Jones, and has twice won Best Keyboard Player at the British Blues Awards.

Over nine lessons you'll build a simple but genuinely authentic 12-bar blues from the ground up: the left-hand bass that drives the groove, right-hand comping and riffs, 7th chords and inversions, and the blues scale for your first improvised solos. The closing Dirty Dozen challenge pulls everything together, and the course sets you up for Paddy's more advanced piano and Hammond material.

Paddy Milner

Paddy Milner is recognised as one of the leading blues piano players in the world - he is currently keyboard player of choice for Sir Tom Jones, following several years with the late, great Jack Bruce - but he is also a superb original songwriter and a distinctive singer.
