Expanding Our Scale

Maybe we'll learn just a couple more notes of the scale.

Current Notes

So far, we have these notes:

  • We don't have anything on the fourth string.
  • Some songs will just use that note.

Notes on the Fourth String

As far as the scale goes, there are a couple of notes:

  • Second fret
  • Fourth fret

The fourth string, actually, lets you get two notes before having to go to the third string.

Additional Information

Just for your information, you should know that you can get the fourth fret on the first string, too, before arriving at the fifth string or the fifth fret.
