Welcome to the Course
Hi, I'm Kieran and welcome to the course. This will be broken down into three sections, each with:
- A number of videos
- A challenge to complete at the end
Purpose of the Challenges
This is an opportunity for you to:
- Put into practice everything that's been covered
- Receive feedback on your work
You'll upload the assignments to Music Gurus, and I will mark them and get back to you, letting you know:
- What you did well
- What needs improvement
Overview of the Challenges
- First Challenge: A simple recording
- Second Challenge: An editing and comping exercise
- Third Challenge: A mix
For the third challenge, I will provide you with a Pro Tools session, and you will mix this to the best of your abilities, trying out everything that I've shown you over the three sessions.

About the instructor
Ciarán Robinson est un ingénieur du son fort de plus de 25 ans d'expérience dans l'ingénierie live, le mixage, l'enregistrement, la conception de studios et le son pour le cinéma, la télévision et les jeux vidéo.
