Group B: Arpeggios at 100 BPM
Let's move on and take a look at Group B. Now, the arpeggios. This is all at the same tempo, 100 BPM.
Demonstration of Arpeggios
1. Dominant 7 (in the key of G)
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
- We can move that to the root note on the A string.
- Shape: Same as above.
2. D Dominant 7 Sharp 5
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
- Now, onto the Dominant 7 Flat 5.
3. Dominant 7 Flat 5 (in the key of A)
- As shown in your book.
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
- Same with a root note on the A string.
4. D Dominant 7 Flat 5 (in the key of D)
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
5. Minor 7 Flat 5 (Arpeggio Number 3)
- Here it is as shown in the key of C.
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
- In the key of G with the root note on the E string.
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
6. Dominant 7 Sharp 9 (Arpeggio Number 4)
- Here it is as shown in your book (key of D).
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
- Let's take a look at it in the key of G with the root note on the E string.

7. Dominant 7 Flat 9 (Arpeggio Number 5)
- Flattened ninth in this one.
- Here it is in the key of E as shown in your book.

- Finally, let's show you it in the key of G on the E string as the starting note.

8. Diminished Arpeggio (Final Arpeggio)
- Really simple, this one; only a three-note arpeggio.
- Here it is as shown in the key of A.
- Play: 1, 2, 3, 4
- If we move that across onto the A string, let's do it in the key of D.
