Enhancing Sound with Modulation and Pitch Plugins
The modulation and pitch plugins are super cool because you can take a basic sound and add a lot of interest to it.
Adding Movement and Spatial Interest
What I mean when I say that is:
- You can add movement to the sound.
- You can introduce spatial interest.
Introducing Electronic Elements
With pitch shifting and pitch correction, you can add elements that you probably wouldn't have in a normal voice.
This includes:
- A more computerized element
- An electronic element to vocal sounds or any sound you like
Building Effects Chains
One great thing you can do with all of these plugins is to start building effects chains.
When you build those, you're:
- Applying a little bit of one plugin
- Adding a little bit of another plugin
By putting it all together, you create a sound that is far removed from the original.
It may have started as a very basic or dry sound, but now it has transformed into something much more interesting.
