About this course

Rockschool Piano Grade 7 takes you through all six set pieces with a team of working pro pianists, who demonstrate each one and explain how it works. At this level you're handling full functional harmony, modal improvising and longer-form pieces by writers like Ray Charles, The Black Crowes and John Williams, so alongside the repertoire you'll get in-depth insight into technique, scales and arpeggios, and improvising over advanced progressions.

With the MusicGurus player you can loop and slow down every performance to work out the detail.

Note: the pieces are from the 2017-19 syllabus and can still be played as free-choice pieces in current RSL exams.
