Triplet phrases: snare drum only

Alex Reeves Lesson time: (7min 1sec)

So far in this course we've looked at phrases based around a straight sixteenth-note feel. We're now going to add triplets to this repertoire. A triplet divides each beat into three instead of two. Included in this lesson are some basic rhythmic figures that will help you feel the difference between a straight (two) and a triplet (three).
