Solo Practice: Goodbye, Liza Jane

Okay, so now we're going to try a solo over Goodbye, Liza Jane using the backing.

Approaches to Use

We'll employ three different approaches:

  • The major blues scale
  • The scales and arpeggios
  • The riffs

We'll mix those up as we play.

Chris gives lessons and workshops on jazz violin technique and has taught jazz violin at Middlesex, Brunel and Newcastle universities and Truro College.
