Example Number Two: Tied Notes
Now let's have a look at example number two. Once again, we have four places where we have tied notes.

First Bar:
- Two quarter notes tied together.
- Counts: 2.

Second Bar:
- A half note and a quarter note.
- Total Counts: 3.

Third Bar:
- Two quarter notes.
- Counts: 2.

Final Bar:
- A tied note that goes from the penultimate to the ultimate bar (from the second to the last bar), made up of two quarter notes.
- Counts: 2 beats total.
