Lesson Eight: The Final Lesson
Welcome back, everybody!
This is lesson eight, the final lesson in the course.
Overview
This is our chance to:
- Play the Head to Sugar in fifth position minor.
- Perform the solo that I've tabbed out for you.
I hope that by doing this solo, you'll grasp where I'm trying to go melodically when I play.
Melodic Improvisation
As a melodic player and improviser, I aim to write little songs within the melody. Here's my approach:
- Connect Points:
- Point A to Point B
- Point B to Point C
- Point C to Point D
- Back to where I started.
It's kind of cool in that respect!
Practice Recommendations
Give it a shot and do your best. The beauty of this is that you can practice as much as you need to.
I hope you'll develop your own ideas as time moves on.

That solo will be a bit of a challenge for you, but hopefully, if you:

- Think about correct posture,
