Understanding the O Vowel
The next vowel we're going to deal with is the O vowel.
Characteristics of the O Vowel
- The O vowel migrates more towards an ah as we move up through the bridge.
- The O vowel sounds like this, and you can hear how it's slowly migrating more towards an ah sound.
Key Points
- The change is very, very minute.
- None of these vowel modifications are going to be massive changes.
- We don't want to have a pronounced shift, that's going to make the voice splat, and it won't sound like a pure O all the way through.
Focus on Minimal Change
- We want to do the minimum amount of change to get the sound to still resonate properly and freely.
