Adding Accompaniment to the Blues Scale

So, now we've learned how to play the blues scale in more interesting ways. Let's add our own accompaniment.

Left Hand Chords

• Like before, we had the left hand playing the chords.
• The next step is to improvise, using the left hand as an accompaniment.

Improvisation Technique

• For example:

  "So, what we've done there is taken the left hand playing the root notes of the scale that we're using of the blues."

• In the right hand, we're using the blues scale to improvise and create different ways of playing the scale.
