About the Course

This online content is based on the Rock School syllabus and books. There's loads of extra information written in all the books, particularly about:

• Scales
• Arpeggios
• Sheet music

If you're looking to take the exams, the book is required, so I'd recommend purchasing them if you are.

Course Structure

This course is divided into a few sections:

1. Performance of the pieces
2. Walkthrough and analysis of each piece by every musician
3. Technical exercises:

4. Sight reading: Best ways to approach and improve it

Improvisation Skills

Even though this isn't strictly within Rock School, we'll teach you how to improvise, play without reading, and use your ears.
