Hey, how's it going? I'm James, and you've made a great choice by joining us! This online content is based on the Rock School syllabus and books, featuring loads of extra information, particularly about:

• Arpeggios
• Sheet Music

If you're looking to take the exams, the books are required. I highly recommend purchasing them if you plan to do so.

Course Structure

This course is divided into several sections:

1. Performance of the Pieces
2. Walkthrough and Analysis by Each Piece and Musician
3. Technical Exercises
   • Includes scales, arpeggios, chord voicings, etc.
4. Sight Reading Tips
   • A short excerpt on the best ways to approach and improve sight reading.
5. Improvisation and Creativity
   • Additional content focused on improvisation and playing by ear.

Even though these topics aren't strictly within Rock School, we will teach you how to improvise and approach playing without relying solely on reading music.
