Music Lesson: B Section Practice
So now you've got the left hand down. Let's do exactly the same thing as the A section.
- I'll play the left hand, you play the right hand, and then we'll switch.
- Finally, we'll put them together.
B Section Practice
Let's start:
- I'll play the left hand, you play the right hand.
- Let's jump right in. Ready?
Count with me:
- 1, A, 2.
- We'll take it slow.
Play Along:
- 1, 2, 3, 4.
- Da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da.
Again:
- 1, A, 2, A.
- 1, 2, 3, 4.
Switch Hands
Now you play the left hand, and I'll play the right hand.
Count with me:
- 1, 2.
- 1, 2, 3, 4.
Once again:
- 1, A, 2, A.
- 1, 2, 3, 4.
Clarification
At the end there, just to clarify, when it goes bada bada bada da da ba da da, you have:
- Right Hand: BBG
- Left Hand: DDG
So you get this sort of sound. It's a nice finish!
Combining Both Hands
Now we're going to put them both together.
I'll take it nice and slow, and then you can practice this at your own speed.
B Section with Both Hands Together:
- Count with me:
- A one, A two.
Nice and slow:
- 1, 2, 3, 4.
Again:
- 1, A, 2, A.
- 1, 2, 3, 4.
Conclusion
And there we have it! That's the tune in the simplest of forms.
So now you've got the B section, add it to the A section, and the world's your oyster!
