Loop a section to practise it

How do I loop a passage?

1. Open the lesson’s score view.
2. Select the passage you want to repeat by clicking in the score at the start of it and extending the selection to the end.
3. Press the loop control in the Soundslice toolbar. The selected passage now repeats until you turn looping off.

Can I loop and slow down at the same time?

Yes — looping and the tempo control are independent. Looping one bar at reduced speed is the fastest way to get a difficult passage under your fingers.

How do I clear the loop?

Press the loop control again, or click elsewhere in the score to reset the selection.
