Switch between video, score and notation views
Updated July 3, 2026 · 1 min read
How do I switch between the video and the score?
Lessons that include both show a toggle in the player — flip it to move between watching the teacher and practising from the interactive score. Your place in the lesson is kept either way.
What display options does the score have?
The Soundslice toolbar’s view options adjust how the notation is displayed. Depending on the instrument and how the arrangement was prepared, this can include a virtual fretboard or keyboard that lights up in time with playback — useful for seeing exactly where the notes fall on your instrument.
Why don’t I see tab / a fretboard on my lesson?
Not every arrangement includes every view — it depends on the instrument and how the teacher prepared the score. Standard notation is always there; instrument-specific views appear where they make sense (guitar tab, keyboard view, and so on).
