Understanding the Transposer

The transposer is essentially a type of auto-tune that:

• Limits your playing to various notes
• Helps conform your sound if you're hitting many incorrect notes in a melody

Using the Transposer

To demonstrate how it works:

• I pull up a piano sound using our EX24.

Here's the process:

1. Identify the Notes:

   • The transposer eliminates certain notes; for example, the D and E that I'm playing are ignored.

2. Playing in Scale:

   • I'm playing within the pentatonic minor scale, but the transposer allows me to play other notes too. It will adjust any "bum notes" and pull them into the scale.

3. Experimentation:

   • As I play random notes, the transposer conforms them all to the minor pentatonic scale.
