So we're going to learn this Dorian lick in several chunks. This means we can learn it in smaller sections that help it to be a bit more easily learned.

Ascending the Scale

Then we go up one, two, three, four, five notes.
So.

One, two, three, four, five. Up that Dorian scale.

And see, that's our flat seven at the top there. It's a lovely bit of kind of crunch in the scale.

Try it again with me:

So we're going to sing:
