Course Overview

This online web content is based on the Rock School syllabus and books, which contain loads of extra information, particularly about:

• Scales
• Arpeggios
• Sheet music

Important: If you're looking to do the exams, the book is required, so I highly recommend buying it if you plan to participate.

Course Structure

This course is divided into several sections:

1. Performance of the Pieces
2. Walkthrough and Analysis
   • Each piece will be analyzed by various musicians.
3. Technical Exercises
   • Including scales, arpeggios, chord voicings, etc.
4. Sight Reading
   • A short excerpt about the best approaches to improve this skill.
5. Improvisation and Creativity
   • We will teach you how to approach playing without reading and using your ears.

Although the improvisation content isn't strictly within Rock School, it will enrich your learning experience.
