Adding Accompaniment to the Blues Scale

So now we've learned how to play the blues scale in more interesting ways. Let's add our own accompaniment.

The next step is to improvise, using the left hand as an accompaniment.

What we've done here:

• Left Hand: Playing the root notes of the blues scale we're using.
• Right Hand: Using the blues scale to improvise and create unique ways of playing the scale.
