How gifting works

You personalise it
Pick a length, write your note and choose the day it should land. Pay once — we don't set up a subscription, for you or for them.
We email their gift on the day you chose
They get your message, your name and a redeem link. If you scheduled it, nothing arrives early — and you get a copy so you know it went.
They redeem, and their time starts then
A gift bought in November and redeemed in January runs from January. Twelve months means twelve months of playing, not of waiting.

Before you buy
Does a gift membership auto-renew?
No. It's a single payment for a fixed length. We don't take card details from the recipient and no subscription is created, so there's nothing to cancel and no charge when it ends. They'll get a reminder a week before it runs out with the option to continue themselves.
When does their membership actually start?
On the day they redeem the gift, not the day you buy it. Buy in November for a Christmas delivery and redeem in January — the clock starts in January.
What if they already subscribe to MusicGurus?
They can still redeem it. The gift is added to their account as a separate pre-paid pass, so nothing changes about their own plan — and if they'd rather not pay while the gift runs, they can pause or cancel their subscription and let the gift carry them.
Can I choose when it's delivered?
Yes — pick any date up to a year ahead. The email goes out that morning, not before, and we send you a copy so you know it landed. Picked the wrong date? Email support before it sends and we'll change it.
Does the gift code expire?
They have 24 months from delivery to redeem it, and we'll nudge them if it's sitting unused. Need the email sent again? Ask support and we'll resend it.
Can I get a refund?
Full refund within 30 days as long as the gift hasn't been redeemed — including gifts still waiting on a scheduled send date. Email support and we'll sort it.
