The video won’t play

Why won’t the video play?

It’s usually a temporary network or browser issue rather than a problem with your account. Work through the steps below in order — most people are fixed by step 2.

Quick fixes to try first

1. Refresh the page. This re-establishes the video stream and clears most stalls.
2. Check your connection. Video needs a steady connection; on mobile data, try Wi-Fi.
3. Try another browser. A current Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox works best.
4. Disable extensions for musicgurus.com. Ad-blockers and privacy extensions can block the video player.
5. Clear the cache for musicgurus.com, or open the lesson in a private/incognito window.

Still not working?

If one specific lesson fails after all of the above, it may be that lesson rather than your setup. Contact support with the course and lesson name and we’ll check it from our side.
