Liam Kirkman es un trombonista que se formó en el Royal Northern College of Music y en la Guildhall School of Music and Drama. A lo largo de más de 20 años como intérprete ha trabajado en una gama de música inusualmente amplia, desde Radiohead, Michael Bublé, Lady Gaga y la John Wilson Orchestra hasta el English National Ballet, y ha tocado en numerosas bandas sonoras de cine y televisión. Expresidente de la British Trombone Society, ha dado clases a estudiantes de la Royal Academy of Music, el Royal College of Music y el Trinity Laban, así como a jóvenes que dan sus primeros pasos con los metales.
