Now let's try some 8th note rhythm games to test your skills.
Review of Rests
First, we'll review some of the rests:
- The symbol that looks like a hat is a half rest and lasts for two counts.
- The symbol that looks like a lightning bolt is a quarter note rest and lasts for one count.
- We also have an eighth rest, which looks like this:
The eighth rest, just like the eighth note, lasts for half a beat.
