Exploring 9th Arpeggios
Okay, so we've got a few arpeggios to take a look at.
Types of 9th Arpeggios
These are all different types of 9th arpeggios:
- Major 9th
- Minor 9th
- Dominant 9th
Major 9 Arpeggio
First off, let's look at the Major 9 on A:
1, 2, 3, 4.
Let me now show you the major 9 arpeggio, starting with the root note on the A string.
Here we go:
1, 2, 3, 4.
Minor 9 Arpeggios
Let's move on to the Minor 9 arpeggio.
Here's the one they've given us: C minor 9, root note on the A string.
1, 2, 3, 4.
Now, let's take a look at G minor 9, with the root note on the E string.
There we are:
1, 2, 3, 4.
Dominant 9 Arpeggios
Last of all, we've got the Dominant 9 arpeggios.
The one they've given us is D dominant 9, with the root note on the A string.
1, 2, 3, 4.
Let's take a look now with the root note on the E string.
So we're going to do a dominant 9:
