Getting Started with the Rock School Grade Book

Firstly, if you haven't got one already, you'll want to acquire a Rock School grade book. Here's why:

There's a lot you can learn from this course without a grade book.
However, it will be much more effective if you have one.

Course Structure

This course is structured as follows:

Pieces:
- We start with the pieces.
- Each piece is performed by a drummer who specializes in that style.
Professional Insights:
- After each performance, the drummer will provide their professional perspective on the piece.
- This includes tips on how to play the style authentically.

Note: Often, these analyses will go beyond what's technically required for the grade exam. Embrace this challenge; relish it! That's what this course is about, taking you to the next level of professional advice.

Technical Exercises:
- After the pieces, we will delve into technical exercises, which are the building blocks of any drummer's technique.
Other Elements:
