Scale, Key and Time

The key to most Western Music is the Major Scale, and there's a major scale for all the notes in the musical alphabet. Before we get to these, let's look further at the time signatures and the basic rhythms. This is important since the bass guitar is both a rhythmic and a harmonic instrument.
