Welcome to Piano Lessons with Paddy Milner
Hi there! I'm Paddy Milner, and I'm very happy to be here with Rock School teaching the piano syllabus.
My Musical Journey
I've been very fortunate enough to travel around the world through music and play with some incredible artists, including:
- Tom Jones
- Van Morrison
- David Gilmour
Along with many other great musicians, both known and unknown, who have been a joy to work with.
Course Overview
In this Rock School course, I'll primarily focus on:
- Soul
- Gospel
- Blues
- Rock and Pop Tunes
Blues is my specialty, and I'll be exploring everything related to that sound world.
What to Expect
Each tune we'll work on will be broken down into:
- Arrangements: How to play them
- Stylistic Elements: What makes those styles unique
- Feel and Groove: Key aspects of the music
- Technical Details: Important techniques within the pieces
There is absolutely tons of material to learn!
Rediscovering Great Music
I've really enjoyed revisiting these pieces; it's a wonderful chance to rediscover some great songs.
