How Sampling Works

What you do is:

1. Take these little bits of audio
2. Pop them into the sampler
3. Recreate and create new productions, new musical arrangements with those pieces of audio

Sampling is so powerful that it has given birth to genres like:

• Hip hop
• Drum and bass

It can be used as:

• A foundation for one of your productions
• An addition to an existing production

I use it all the time in a variety of ways.
