Welcome to the Rockschool Piano Method with MusicGurus! In this course, you'll learn the foundations for becoming a confident musician. We'll start with the basics: understanding your instrument, correct sitting posture, and finger positioning. Next, we'll explore keyboard geography and note recognition, followed by an introduction to reading music. You'll learn each concept at your own pace, with interactive sheet music, backing tracks, and exercises to guide you along. Don't worry if this sounds daunting—take it slow, and enjoy each step!
About the instructor
Talia Girton ist Musikerin und beim HCPC registrierte Musiktherapeutin sowie Gründerin von The Cycling Music Teachers. Ihre Arbeit verbindet Musiktherapie, Beratung und Pädagogik, und sie unterrichtet international im Musiktherapie-Ausbildungsgang der UDELAS in Panama und wirkt zudem an der beruflichen Weiterbildung mit der European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA) mit. Auf MusicGurus unterrichtet sie die Kurse Piano Method und Piano Foundations und führt absolute Anfänger von den ersten Schritten über Rhythmus, beide Hände, Theorie bis zur Aufführung. read more
