How to use MusicGurus

MusicGurus is an online music school: you subscribe to watch structured video courses from professional musicians, and practise with interactive sheet music in your browser. This page is the fastest way to go from a brand-new account to your first proper practice session.
Where should I start?
Follow the five steps in order. Each one is a short standalone article — you can stop after any step and pick up later. If you already have an account, skip to step 2.
The guided path
- Create your account and choose a planSign up with email, Google or Facebook, then pick monthly, quarterly or annual.
- Find and start a courseBrowse or search the catalogue, open a course, and press play on the first lesson.
- Use the lesson playerVideo lessons, interactive sheet music, and how to switch between them.
- Track progress, bookmarks and downloadsCompleted lessons, resuming where you stopped, bookmarking courses, and lesson downloads.
- Manage your subscriptionChange plan, update payment details, see invoices, or cancel — from your account settings.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes end to end. Creating an account takes two; the rest is choosing a course and getting comfortable with the lesson player, which you’ll keep using every session.
