Welcome to the Rockschool Piano Method with MusicGurus! In this course, you'll learn the foundations for becoming a confident musician. We'll start with the basics: understanding your instrument, correct sitting posture, and finger positioning. Next, we'll explore keyboard geography and note recognition, followed by an introduction to reading music. You'll learn each concept at your own pace, with interactive sheet music, backing tracks, and exercises to guide you along. Don't worry if this sounds daunting—take it slow, and enjoy each step!
About the instructor
Talia Girton est musicienne et musicothérapeute agréée par le HCPC, et fondatrice de The Cycling Music Teachers. Son travail réunit la musicothérapie, l'accompagnement et l'éducation, et elle enseigne à l'international dans le cadre de la formation en musicothérapie de l'UDELAS au Panama, tout en contribuant au développement professionnel avec l'European Piano Teachers Association (EPTA). Sur MusicGurus, elle enseigne les cours Piano Method et Piano Foundations, guidant les débutants complets depuis les premiers pas à travers le rythme, les deux mains, la théorie et l'interprétation. read more
