Nick Beston

Nick Beston ist ein britischer Saxofonist und Lehrer, der 1994 sein Studium an der University of London mit den Schwerpunkten Jazzsaxofon, Studio-Musiktechnologie und Komposition abschloss. Sein bei Schott erschienenes Buch Improvising Blues Saxophone ist ein praktischer Leitfaden für fortgeschrittene und weit fortgeschrittene Spieler und behandelt Bluesharmonik, Riffs, Bebop und Moll-Blues sowie die charakteristischen Saxofoneffekte Glissando, Growling und Dämpfer.
